Departure and Return Location: DEHRADUN (UTTARAKHAND INDIA)
Dehradun is our main base for the Chardham Heli yatra. It is the starting & ending point for Chardham Yatra by Helicopter.
This is the reporting day at Dehradun, which is our main base (starting & ending point).
LIH representatives will pick you up from Dehradun Airport / Railway station and transfer you to your hotel for complimentary night stay in Dehradun. Airport to Dehradun hotel will be an approx. 01 hour journey by road.
Note: Arrival details must be provided to LIH prior to one week of your arrival so we can arrange a smooth pick-up.
Yatris should try to reach Dehradun by 04:00 pm, or earlier so that they are completely ready to start their Chardham yatra by Helicopter the next day early morning.
In the evening ~7:00 pm to 9:00 PM, LIH team will brief the yatris for precautions they need to take during the Chardham tour. We will provide all yatris with duffel bags for carrying their necessary things on the trip - Up to 5kgs per person will be permitted. Chardham yatris are required to shift only necessary luggage in the duffel bags due to helicopter weight constraints.

Transfer: Dehradun (Sahastradhara Helipad) ➝ Yamunotri Dham.(Kharsali Helipad) Kharsali is small village that has two sacred ancient temples which yatris can visit: Shani temple & Yamuna Mata temple (Winter seat of goddess Yamuna).
The blessed Chardham Helicopter Yatra will begin in the morning from the Dehradun helipad by flying to Kharsali helipad (Yamunotri Dham). Our beloved yatris will check out in the morning from the dehradun's hotel and they will be picked up from the Hotel by our crew and taken to Sahastradhara Helipad.
LIH's ground staff would welcome the passengers. The staff will then get the yatris, settled in the waiting lounge, where the Pre-Flight briefing will be given. Chardham Yatris will then be boarded in the helicopter for Chardham Yatra. After landing at Kharsali helipad, yatris will be checked-in to hotel and then they will be taken for Yamunotri Dham Darshan. Yamunotri trek is 06 km stretch one-way, which will be covered by Pony or Palki whichever is available.

Transfer: Yamunotri Dham (Kharsali Helipad) ➝ Gangotri Dham (Harsil Helipad)
On Day 03, the Chardham Yatra by Helicopter Group will be flying from Kharsali Helipad to Harsil Helipad. In the morning, yatris will check out from the hotel and will departs from Kharsali to Harsil.
Gangotri Dham - This Dham is also famous for the “Gaumukh” there, which is the endpoint of the Gangotri Glacier . Yatris will be taken for Gangotri Dham Darshan after breakfast or lunch, depending upon the rush at the temple. The road distance to Gangotri Dham temple is approx. 20 km, which is roughly a 45-minute drive.
Sightseeing at Harsil: Harsil is also known as "Mini Switzerland of India". some famous places here are - Dharali Village(for apple orchards), Mukhba Village , Harsil Waterfall, etc.

Transfer: Gangotri Dham (Harsil Helipad) ➝ Kedarnath Dham (Guptkashi / Sersi / Phata Helipad)
In the morning, we will drive to Harsil Helipad. From there, we will fly to Guptkashi / Sersi Helipad then again fly to Kedarnath Dham (third dham of Chardham Yatra by Helicopter) from the same Helipad. Kedarnath Dham Temple is approx. 500 meters away from helipad and will take approx. 15 mins to reach.
Kedarnath Ji has three helipads - Sersi / Guptkashi / Phata and from any of these helipad shuttle services for Kedarnath Ji Shrine will operate. Chardham yatris will be taken to Kedarnath Dham for darshan in a shuttle services flight, after their breakfast.
The shuttle services flight from Guptkashi / Sersi / Phata to Kedarnath Dham is approx. 07 minutes long.

Transfer: Kedarnath Dham (Guptkashi/ Sersi/ Phata Helipad) ➝ Badrinath Dham Helipad
Yatris will have delicious breakfast in the morning at Kedarnath Dham & be ready for their flight to Badrinath Dham from Guptkashi / Sersi. LIH handlers will take the Chardham Yatris to the Helipad and get them ready for the next ride.
After reaching Badrinath, all the yatris will be taken for darshan to Badrinath Dham temple in the afternoon after their delicious lunch.Chardham Yatris will be provided a car for transportation between Badrinath Dham mandir and Hotel.
Sightseeing at Badrinath Dham: Mana Village – Known as the ‘Last village of India’, due to its proximity to the China border.*Subject to availability & Operational!, Tapt Kund, Neelkanth Peak, Saraswati River Origin , etc.
Transfer: Badrinath Dham Helipad ➝ Dehradun (Sahastradhara Helipad)
After having breakfast, while we are heading back to Dehradun, you can see the beautiful overview of the Region, especially the picturesque view of the valley, which is an eye-candy for nature lovers.
On arrival at Dehradun Sahastradhara Helipad, LIH team will be present there to receive all the yatris of Chardham Helicopter Yatra. Later, they will be dropped at the Dehradun Hotel to collect the luggage from cloak rooms and we bid farewell to the yatris.

When you plan to go for the Chardham Yatra by Helicopter, here’s something really important that we must keep in mind that all the dhams are situated at great heights in the Himalayas, between 8,500 to 11,500 feet above sea level. And when we talk about that height, things feel very different. The oxygen in air gets lesser, the temperature will drop too low, and even the sunlight will feel stronger on the skin.
As we are not used to such high altitudes, our body might take a little time to adjust to such situations. So try to go easy on yourself. Don’t rush, try to take breaks, and keep checking how you’re feeling. And always make sure your family is also doing okay too.
Because when the day ends and the tour is over, your health is the only thing that will matter the most—because when you feel good, you’re able to enjoy the blessings and peace that this sacred journey offers.

For all the services contracted, a certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid before you depart from your country or after your arrival to India as mutually decided between team management and guests. Management personnel hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service. Apart from the above, in some cases, like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance (as specified in your tour proposal).

If passengers cancel their booking prior or after commencement of Chardham Helicopter yatra, following cancellation charges will be applicable:
In case of special trains journeys and peak season hotel bookings, a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required). For flight ticket cancellation, airlines cancellation policy will be applicable.
**Important Note: - If flying is unable to take place for two consecutive days due to bad weather conditions, the Char Dham Yatra will be called off. In such cases, a 75% refund, minus a 25% management fee as per our policies, will be issued to the passengers. Any additional accommodation costs for extra days must be paid directly by the passengers to the hotel due to bad weather.Deduction of any additional services provided at any of the Dham’s during the tour to the passengers will be deducted over & above the refundable Tour cost.
